What I Offer
Personal Training built
around you
1-2-1 Personal Training
Most popularOne-to-one coaching at UNTIL Soho, Marylebone, Liverpool Street or Canary Wharf, built around your history, your goals and the time you actually have. Strength, mobility and conditioning in one plan: progressed session by session, and built to last years, not weeks.
Group Personal Training
Sessions limited to two people, each on your own programme but training together. You get most of the individual attention of a 1-2-1 at a lower per-person cost, and share the room and the energy. Booked weekly or fortnightly.
Online Personal Training
Coached remotely, with the same structure as in person. I design your programme, review your form from video, and adjust it as you progress: built around the equipment you actually have. Made for people who travel or train on their own schedule.
Strength & Conditioning
Strength, power and resilience for the over-40 body, built in progressive phases. It draws on 18+ years of coaching and an international athletics career, and it takes your recovery and joint history seriously from the first session, not the tenth.
Corporate Wellness
Training and wellbeing for senior professionals and teams, in UNTIL's private City, Canary Wharf and West End gyms. Built around a demanding diary and the things that actually show up at work: sharper energy, lower stress, strength that lasts. For individuals, small groups or whole teams.
The 40+ Reset Programme
NewA structured 8-to-12-week reset for the over-40 body: progressive training, honest nutrition and weekly check-ins, with a clear start and a real finish line. Train face-to-face across UNTIL London or fully online, anywhere. (Formerly Summer Strong 40 Plus.)
Personal training across Soho and the West End
One base at 111 Charing Cross Road, two minutes from Tottenham Court Road, covering Soho and the streets around it. Same coach, same equipment, wherever you travel in from.
Soho and Oxford Street
The immediate catchment. The building sits on the Soho edge of Charing Cross Road and the eastern end of Oxford Street is a few minutes north, which suits clients fitting a session either side of a working day in the West End.
Fitzrovia and Charlotte Street
A walk of under ten minutes north across Oxford Street. Most Fitzrovia clients train early, before the media and agency day starts.
Covent Garden and Seven Dials
Under ten minutes on foot to the east, or one stop on the Northern line. Close enough that a lunchtime session is realistic rather than theoretical.
Bloomsbury and Holborn
A ten to fifteen minute walk, or a single stop on the Central or Northern line. Convenient for the university and legal offices north and east of the club.
Mayfair and Piccadilly
Two stops west on the Central or Piccadilly line. If you also work near Bond Street, the Marylebone club is the other option and you can move between the two as your week changes.
FAQ
Common
questions
How are over-40 fitness needs different from younger trainees?
Recovery slows, joints carry more accumulated history, and metabolism shifts. The principle does not change: progressive overload still drives adaptation, but the dose, recovery, and exercise selection do. Most over-40 clients benefit from more strength and mobility work, less high-intensity volume, and longer recovery between heavy sessions than they did at thirty.
Do I need to be fit before I start?
No. The first session is free precisely so you can come as you are. Whether you have not trained for years or are returning after an injury, we measure where you are today and build a programme that matches your current capacity. The aim is to meet you, not benchmark you against an idealised standard.
What happens in a typical session?
Sessions run between 45 and 60 minutes. We start with a brief warm-up and mobility, follow with the main strength or conditioning work, and finish with any accessory or recovery work the day calls for. Form, breathing, and effort are coached in real time. You leave with a clear sense of progress.
Where do you train clients?
Across four UNTIL sites: Soho (111 Charing Cross Road), Marylebone (1 Orchard Street), Liverpool Street (280 Bishops Square), and Canary Wharf (30 South Colonnade). All are private members' gyms with full equipment, showers, and changing facilities. Online clients train wherever they have access to equipment and receive the same programme structure adapted to that kit.
How is the first session structured?
The first session is a no-cost, no-obligation assessment. We discuss your training history, current goals, and any injuries or constraints, then run a brief practical assessment of movement quality and strength. You leave with a clear sense of whether the programme is a fit and what next steps would look like.
